He obtained his MBBS in Medicine from King Saud University and pursued further studies in Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons in Glasgow.

Additionally, he completed specialized training in Kidney Transplant Surgery and Kidney and Pancreatic Islet Transplantation at the University of Oxford.

Throughout his career, Khalid has held various key positions in prestigious organizations within the healthcare sector.

He currently serves as the CEO of the Health Sector Transformation Program and has a strong background in healthcare management and transformation.

Previously, he had pivotal roles such as Deputy Minister of Planning and Transformation, Director at the Vision Realisation Office at the Ministry of Health, and Supervisor General at the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia.

Before these roles, Khalid AlShaibani also held positions as Director General of Eastern Region Health Affairs, CEO of King Fahad Specialist Hospital in Dammam, and Executive Director of Medical and Clinical Operations at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre.
