Khaled Al-Surimi

Khaled Al-Surimi is a seasoned professional with a diverse expertise in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Healthcare Leadership, Change Management, Human Resources Management, Health Systems and Policy Research, Evidence-Based Public Health Policy and Practice, Institutional Capacity Building, and Technical Assistance.

Khaled completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Health and Health Care Management from the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. He also holds a PgDip in Community Health from Linköping University and a Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health from Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Throughout his career, Khaled has held various prominent positions, including Professor at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Healthcare Consultant at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), and Senior Research Fellow at Imperial College London. He has also served in roles such as Chairman of Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Unit and Acting Chair of Health Systems and Quality Management Department at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

Additionally, Khaled has worked as an Epidemiologist at King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), Health Consultant at Nuffic, Health Consultant at the World Health Organization, Public Health Consultant at The World Bank, and Health Project Officer at the Social Fund for Development (SFD) in Yemen, among other positions.

His extensive experience and in-depth knowledge make him a valuable asset in the fields of Healthcare Management, Public Health, and Quality Improvement, where he excels in leadership, research, policy development, and consultancy services.
