Keyvan Farahani

Keyvan Farahani is an accomplished program director specializing in cancer imaging research. He has a rich history of collaborating with academia, industry, and federal agencies. His expertise lies in medical imaging, minimally-invasive cancer treatments, creating data repositories, developing software tools for machine learning/artificial intelligence applications in imaging informatics, and providing strategic leadership in biomedical sciences. Farahani holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He currently holds the position of Program Director for Imaging Informatics at the Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology within the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Previously, he served as the Program Director for Image-Guided Interventions at the National Cancer Institute under The National Institutes of Health.
