Kevork Peltekian

Dr. Kevork Peltekian is a highly accomplished and respected hepatologist with extensive experience in the field of liver disease, hepatology, and liver transplantation.

He obtained his medical degree from the American University of Beirut and completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine and gastroenterology at Dalhousie University, followed by a two-year fellowship in hepatology and liver transplantation at the Toronto Hospital.

Dr. Peltekian has made significant contributions to the medical community, particularly in Atlantic Canada, where he has been a pioneer in advocating for patients with liver disease, promoting research, education, and effective patient care.

He has held various prestigious positions, including Chairman and CEO of the Canadian Liver Foundation, President of the Canadian Association for Study of Liver (CASL), and Medical Director of the Liver Transplantation Team at the Atlantic Multi-Organ Transplantation Program.
