Kevin Zhang is an accomplished investor, product strategist, and entrepreneur who has worked with some of the industry's leading companies. Zhang is currently a partner at Bain Capital Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in business software and financial services startups that focus on supply chain, industrial tech, productivity, automation, and the future of employment. Prior to joining Bain Capital, he served as the Head of Product at Fundera, a highly successful financial services marketplace that was acquired by Nerdwallet in 2020.
Zhang's impressive educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College, where he graduated with honors, and a semester of international relations and affairs at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Zhang is currently pursuing an MPA at Harvard Kennedy School, and has previously pursued an MBA at The Wharton School.
Outside of work, Zhang is passionately committed to giving back to his alma maters and has been highly involved with technology and entrepreneurship student and alumni organizations at Columbia University. He has also served as an Innovative Finance Summer Associate at The Rockefeller Foundation, Investment Fellow at Mobility Capital, and James O. Freedman Presidential Scholar at Dartmouth College Economics Department. Zhang's diverse professional experiences have allowed him to develop a wide range of skills, including financial analysis, venture capital, product development, and leadership.
