Kevin Weatherman, also known as Intangible Angel, is an experienced investor and early-stage executive with a proven track record of scaling startups from seed stage to Series A fundraising and beyond. With over a decade of experience in mobile, AdTech, and business development/sales, he has helped grow three companies from less than 10 employees to over 100+, including MoPub, which went from $0 to over $250M+ before its acquisition by Twitter in 2013.
Kevin is passionate about creating successful companies through talented people, strong culture, and robust processes that lead to market-leading products. He admires the early Google culture and has a deep understanding of OKRs, Jim Collin's 'Good to Great,' and Ben Horowitz's 'Hard thing about hard things.' As an angel investor, he invests in strong product/engineering founded teams that address transparent problems in the market. His investments include Slack, Rent The Runway, Electric.ai, mParticle, PetalCard, Attentive Mobile, Prolific Interactive, Max Ads & EliteDaily.
With a degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, Kevin has held various senior leadership roles, including VP Partnerships & Cloud Enterprise BD at Moloco, Co-Founder & CEO at Lever Health, CRO/VP of Business Development at OneSignal, Director, Global Strategic Publisher Sales at Twitter, and VP of Business Development at MoPub. He also co-founded Spiral Inc., served as Sr. Account Executive at PubMatic, and Account Executive at Adbrite.com.
