Kevin Thurman

Kevin Thurman is the founder of Turto, a travel startup designed to facilitate personalized trips by connecting travelers with local experts. His background includes significant experience in technology and political movements, having worked as an early employee at Blue State Digital, which developed digital tools for prominent political campaigns, including those of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. He also served as a consultant for mobility companies in Europe and played a key role in passing a $16 billion transportation plan in Tampa.1

Thurman completed his MBA at ESMT Berlin, where he incubated the idea for Turto. The company's mission is to simplify travel planning and enhance local economies by ensuring that a larger portion of tourist spending benefits local communities. Turto aims to launch its beta product for American travelers to London in the fall and plans to expand to other European cities in the following year.12
