Kevin Sutton

Kevin Sutton is an experienced Java developer with over a decade of experience in the industry. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Dublin City University. Throughout his career, Kevin has worked on a diverse range of projects, including developing web services that support millions of Android/iOS clients, employing machine learning algorithms on billion data points, and starting the process of transitioning a monolithic application to a microservices-driven system. Kevin has extensive expertise in agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, continuous integration, and unit testing. Moreover, Kevin has experience in both front-end design and back-end configurations, which includes maintaining databases, managing deployments, and configuring NGINX and web server infrastructures. In addition, Kevin has recently ventured into DevOps, utilizing tools such as Ansible for configuration management and deployment on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Currently, Kevin works as a Software Developer for Swyft Energy.
