Kevin Stillman

Kevin Stillman is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at The State University of New York (SUNY), a position he has held since May 2023. In this role, he provides operational and administrative leadership for SUNY's infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, project management, and architecture services. His responsibilities include establishing technical standards, architecture frameworks, and product roadmaps that align with SUNY's academic needs and modern technologies. He also oversees the design and implementation of technology solutions that address academic requirements, privacy, security, and administrative operations.1

Before becoming CTO, Stillman served as the Director of Network & Cybersecurity Services at SUNY from April 2015 to May 2023, where he supported the mission of SUNYNet, the university's Wide-Area Network and Collaboration Services Program. His career at SUNY began in 1997, and he has held various positions, including Assistant Director for Network Planning and Operations and Lead Network Analyst.1

Stillman's extensive experience in technology and network management has established him as a knowledgeable and capable professional in the field.1
