Kevin Sneader
Kevin Sneader is the President of Asia Pacific Ex-Japan (APEJ) at Goldman Sachs, a position he has held since July 2022.5 He initially joined Goldman Sachs in September 2021 as Co-President of Asia Pacific Ex-Japan.15 Sneader is a member of several key committees at Goldman Sachs, including the Management Committee, Asia Pacific Management Committee, and Firmwide Conduct Committee.4
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Sneader had a 32-year career at McKinsey & Company, where he served as the global managing partner from 2018 to 2021.16 During his time at McKinsey, he held various leadership positions, including managing partner of the UK and Ireland practice and chairman of the Asian offices.4
Sneader holds an LLB with first-class honors from the University of Glasgow and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was designated a Baker Scholar.35 Born in Canada in 1966 and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, Sneader is of Jewish heritage.6
In his current role at Goldman Sachs, Sneader is focused on developing the firm's client franchise and strategic growth plan in the Asia Pacific region.1 He is based in Hong Kong and is known for his extensive experience in Asia and deep relationships with global and Asian clients across multiple industries.12
