Dr. Kevin Smith is the President & CEO of University Health Network (UHN), Canada's largest academic health sciences centre. With a career dedicated to the integration of education, research, and clinical care, Kevin is a pioneer in advancing integrated care models and services.

As a Professor at various prestigious institutions including Institute for Medical Sciences, IHPME, Rotman School of Management, and De Groote School of Medicine at McMaster University, Dr. Smith brings a wealth of academic knowledge and experience to his leadership role.

His educational background spans across Canada, the U.S., and Great Britain, culminating in degrees in Psychology, Epidemiology, Gerontology, and a DPhil in Science Policy, showcasing a diverse and robust academic foundation.

Professionally certified in Corporate Governance by the Institute of Corporate Directors and the Harvard Program in Effective Governance, Kevin also completed the Wharton School CEO Program for Health Care Leadership, indicating his commitment to high standards of governance and effective leadership.
