Kevin Phillips
Kevin Phillips, a physics graduate from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, has made it his mission to improve the lives of cancer patients through genome sequencing. With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, Phillips' interests lie in using scalable genomic-data statistical analyses to decode disease-specific genome signatures that inform therapeutic strategies and disease monitoring. As Director of Bioinformatics & Data Science at Convergent Genomics, he has been instrumental in developing a new generation sequencing analysis pipeline to enhance patient-specific detection protocols. His technical expertise and interest in business development have made him a valuable asset to cancer diagnostics.
