Kevin Persing is a seasoned and respected RF industry professional with over three decades of experience. He has worked with cutting-edge technologies and represented a broad range of wireless and two-way radio products throughout his career, starting at Motorola in 1989. He has expertise in complex emergency communications systems, developing training classes and seminars specifically tailored for authorities having jurisdiction, and creating usable standards within their jurisdictions. He has put a special focus on adhering to the current Fire Codes such as IFC 2009 - 510.1 Appendix J - Emergency Responder Radio Coverage, NFPA 72 2010 Chapter 24, Annex A, and City Based ordinances that require In-Building Public safety radio coverage. He is the Director of Sales Western Region at Fiplex Communications and has held senior management positions at various renowned companies like Axell Wireless, LTD., Cobham Wireless, and TriPower Group, Inc, among others. Kevin is a trusted and consultative participant by those in the Public Safety Community, actively involved with APCO in the western region. He has also created VAR Training and Webinars specific to the changes in Fire Code and their impact on new construction in 2011 and beyond.
