Perrott's journey into longevity research began after surviving cancer, which motivated him to address deficiencies in health technology development.13 He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a BSc with a double major in Biology and Chemistry.12
Before his academic career, Perrott was a successful entrepreneur, owning Riverside Honda and Skidoo Sales, the largest motorcycle and snowmobile dealership in Canada.15 His diverse experience allows him to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical applications in the field of aging and longevity.
