Kevin McFarland

Kevin McFarland is a seasoned professional with a rich background in humanitarian emergency response, community-based development, and non-profit/social enterprise strategy and leadership.

In 1983, Kevin founded Manna International Relief and Development Corporation, spearheading projects in over 30 developing nations across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

His expertise spans various sectors such as micro-enterprise, agricultural development, public health, and international education.

Currently, Kevin serves as the CEO of DirectLight Media and FireSong Publishing, offering consultancy services in non-profit/social enterprise strategy, global cross-sector partnerships, and complex humanitarian emergency response.

As a KIN Global Fellow at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Kevin is well-versed in fostering innovation and sustainable economic development.

He also contributes to the advisory council of the Global Institute for Development Evidence (GIDE) and sits on the Board of Trustees of Angola University.

Kevin's specialties include program design, implementation, and evaluation, as well as resource development, fundraising, and international public speaking.

His educational background features coursework in Education/International Development at Stanford University, Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University, and Ministry/Psychology at Abilene Christian University.
