Kevin Madrigal
San Francisco-based entrepreneur Kevin Madrigal is the founder of Farming Hope, a social enterprise dedicated to providing sustainable employment opportunities to homeless communities in the city. With a degree in Human Biology and a Master's in Earth Systems from Stanford University, Madrigal's passion for nutrition and public health interventions runs deep, particularly when it comes to Latinx communities. He is a self-proclaimed decolonizer of diets and health, using his expertise to promote wellness and sustainability through the traditional cooking of his Mexican ancestors, with a modern plant-based twist.
Madrigal is also a published author and poet, with a collection of poems about anxiety and promoting positive mental behaviors in the works. His professional experience includes working as a Line Cook at Schwab Executive Services, a Farm Researcher at Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford, and a researcher at Gilead Sciences.
