Edison Research is the exclusive provider of election exit polls to the National Election Pool consisting of ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC. Edison has conducted exit polls and collected precinct vote returns to project and analyze results for every major primary and general election since 2004. While at Edison, I was part of a team that shaped the evolution and expansion of their exit poll and vote data collection process.

In addition to those election research responsibilities, I was heavily involved in Edison's consumer market research efforts, delivering consumer insights across a wide range of industries. This included questionnaire design, examination and analysis of research data, and production of deliverable data summaries and presentation graphs.  In my time at Edison Research, I traveled to multiple markets across the United States to serve as principal field support on these consumer research studies, and presented data at international conferences.

Managed team of Research Coordinators responsible for both gathering detailed research information from state and local government agencies, and for hiring and training the large staff of election day exit poll interviewers and vote reporters, in addition to managing teams focused on consumer media research.

Manager of Research

Responsible for managing consumer intercept survey projects from start to finish. This included hiring, training, and managing survey interviewers; crafting training manuals, rehearsal scripts, and all other fielding materials provided to survey interviewers; and building, testing, and scanning questionnaires using survey design software.

Project Coordinator

Primary responsibilities included conducting background research with local and state government officials; compiling vote histories and other data; hiring, training, and managing a large staff of Election Day Exit Pollsters; and assisting with quality control of data entry on Election Day to ensure that data provided to the National Election Pool is both accurate and timely.

Election Research Coordinator

Assisted district staff with political communications and constituent services; served as a liaison between the public and federal agencies; researched constituent inquiries and pending legislation; assisted with office administrative tasks.
