    Kevin Kung is an MIT-trained engineer with a physics background, specializing in decentralized biomass processing and upgrading in remote areas. With a focus on social entrepreneurship and community development in emerging markets, Kevin has over seven years of experience in project implementation and low-cost design. He co-founded and invested in biomass companies and is dedicated to the sustainable development of underserved regions. Kevin's educational background includes a Master of Science in Biological Engineering from MIT, a Physics degree from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering, Biophysics, and Physics from Princeton University. He also holds a Ph.D. in Biology, Engineering, Energy, and Philosophy from MIT.

    Throughout his career, Kevin has been involved in various organizations such as being the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Takachar, Co-Founder and Advisor at Safi Organics Ltd., Fellow at Cyclotron Road, Ph.D. Candidate at MIT Reacting Gas Dynamics Group Center for 21st Century Energy, Fellow at Waste Innovations Group at MIT Tata Center for Technology and Design, and Researcher at MIT Senseable City Lab. He has also served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at MIT, as well as in various roles at the University of Cambridge, Princeton University, and Technische Universität München. Kevin's experience ranges from academic research to practical implementation in the fields of biomass processing, sustainable development, and social entrepreneurship.
