Kevin Hooper

Kevin Hooper is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning education, finance, and operations. Currently serving as the Chief School Business Official at Queen Bee School District 16 in Illinois, Kevin oversees the business and operations for multiple schools, driving financial improvements and organizational sustainability. His leadership was pivotal in successfully restructuring the district, completing a $10 million construction project, and reducing property tax burdens for the community. Prior to his current role, Kevin held key positions at Erie Elementary Charter School in Chicago and within Teach For America, where he managed finance, facilities, human resources, professional development, and external affairs, showcasing his versatile skill set and leadership capabilities. Kevin's journey in public education began as a Teach For America corps member, where he excelled as a teacher and later transitioned into roles focusing on school leadership and operations. His commitment to education is augmented by his prior experiences in finance, including valuation analysis at Ocean Tomo and credit risk analyses at Citi. Kevin holds a B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Illinois, an M.A. in Teaching from Dominican University, and a CSBO endorsement from Northern Illinois University & IASBO School Business Management program.
