Kevin Hobbs

Kevin Hobbs is the Chief Executive Officer of Aventus Ventures, a position he has held since November 2019.1 He is a serial entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the blockchain and financial technology (FinTech) industry.1 Hobbs has been instrumental in launching multi-billion dollar projects since 2015.1

Aventus Ventures, under Hobbs' leadership, is a consulting and development company focusing on financial technologies such as blockchain and digital assets.1 The company provides end-to-end solutions for its clients and introduces the newest innovations in the space.1

Prior to his role at Aventus Ventures, Hobbs served as the CEO of The Vanbex Group from October 2015 to November 2019.1 At Vanbex, he oversaw strategic business consulting and marketing activities for early-stage and venture-backed companies in the blockchain industry.1

Hobbs has been recognized for his contributions to the blockchain industry, winning the "Blockchain Adoption CEO of the Year 2023 - Ontario" award.2 His expertise extends to areas such as business development, project management, and strategic planning in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.1

In terms of education, Hobbs studied Kinesiology and Exercise Science at Douglas College from 1999 to 2001, and later pursued Business Administration and Management at Dalhousie University from 2001 to 2003.1
