Kevin Hanes is the Chief Executive Officer of Cybrary, a leading cybersecurity professional development platform aimed at empowering individuals and teams to enhance their cybersecurity skills.

Prior to joining Cybrary, Kevin spent 8 years as the Chief Operating Officer of Secureworks, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Secureworks as a global leader in cybersecurity, developing a renowned cybersecurity operations team, and guiding the company through significant growth and an IPO.

Kevin commenced his career at Dell Technologies, where he held various leadership positions over a 15-year period, gaining valuable experience in areas such as e-commerce, social media strategies, product launches in datacenter markets, and global expansion. His tenure at Dell highlighted the importance of clear goals, compelling visions, innovation, product-market fit, and operational excellence.

Kevin's educational background includes a Master's in Executive MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from St. Edward's University.

In his personal life, Kevin is married to Amanda, with whom he has three children. He finds joy in attending his children's sporting events and has a passion for sailing and continuous learning and development.
