Kevin Douglas is an experienced Technical Specialist with a strong background in Disaster Risk Reduction and Environmental Management. He excels in Sustainable Development, Climate Change Adaptation, Sustainable Agriculture, Emergency Management, and Environmental Awareness. With a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management specializing in Disaster Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Kevin has a comprehensive academic foundation.

Kevin's professional journey includes roles such as Manager of the Disaster Programme and Emergency Services at Jamaica Red Cross, Project Manager for the Resilient Islands by Design Project, and Technical Advisor for Natural Resource Management at ACDI VOCA Jamaica. He has also held positions at various organizations including conducting research at the Disaster Risk Reduction Centre: University of the West Indies Mona, serving as a Training Officer at the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management, and working as an Independent Sub-Contractor in private consultancy. Additionally, Kevin has previous experience as an Immigration Officer and a Teacher of Geography at multiple high schools.
