Reference and Instruction Librarian at Kennedy-King College
Kevin Davey is a highly experienced librarian with over 25 years of expertise in the field. He has worked mainly in public libraries and retired from his position at Chicago Public Library in 2011. Following his retirement, his passion for librarianship saw him return to work at Kennedy-King College Library. Kevin's experience includes purchasing books on military and naval science and building construction for over a decade. He has a BA in History from Bryan College, and he also studied MSLS, Library Science, at University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Kevin is adept in his role as a Reference and Instruction Librarian and previously held positions as a Support Analyst, Customer Support Coordinator at American Theological Library Association and an Adult Services/ Extension Services Librarian at Sussex County (NJ) Library.
