Kevin Currie
Executive Director at Wildlife Conservation Society
Kevin Currie is the Executive Director at Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), a position he has held since March 2018.1 He is based in the Greater New York City Area and has extensive experience in finance, administration, and business analysis.1
Prior to joining WCS, Currie had a long career at Citi, where he held several senior positions:
- Senior Vice President (August 2015 - May 2017)
- Senior Vice President in Global Capital Markets (May 2011 - June 2013)
- Senior Vice President in FP&A, Strategy & Planning (December 2003 - May 2011)
Currie also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Open Systems Technologies and took a one-year career sabbatical to travel.1
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and English from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which he completed from 1993 to 1996.1 Currie also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, issued in November 2014.1
It's worth noting that there is another Kevin Currie who is a Professor of Biomedical Sciences at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University2, but this is not the same person as the WCS Executive Director.
