Kevin Colas

Kevin Colas is an experienced strategy and public/private GP and LP investment professional with over 20 years of experience.

He is currently actively investing as a GP and LP with a group of executives angels called Empire Angel Collective (EAC), focusing on New Conscious Consumer theme and world-class consumer-facing technologies and brands.

Kevin has a strong background in leading strategy consulting projects for startups and Fortune 500 companies in various industries, including IT, healthcare, consumer, industrials, and telecom.

With an impressive educational background, Kevin holds an MBA from Hult, an MPhil in finance from Aix-Marseille U., an MS in management from Skema, and a BS in economics from Grenoble U.

He has also pursued professional certificates in Big Data, Social Analytics, and Data Analysis from prestigious institutions like MIT and UC Berkeley, and MBA electives in Venture Capital & Investment Banking from Boston College.

Kevin's previous roles include serving as the Chief Investment Officer at OceanIQ Capital, where he managed investments across major asset classes for families in the US, Asia, and Europe.

Before that, he worked with industry veterans like Hap Klopp, founder of The North Face, and Shawn Biega, raising venture funds and focusing on active lifestyle, health & wellness consumer brands.

Throughout his career, Kevin has been involved with a variety of organizations where he held advisory, investor, board member, and partner positions, such as Airbnb, Chime, and Gozem - Africa's Super App.
