Dr. Kevin A. Shaw is a highly accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in MEMS, Sensors, and Startups. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, where he also earned two masters degrees. Dr. Shaw's career began at Cornell University, focusing on Silicon MEMS processes for inertial sensors. He played a pivotal role at Kionix as employee #3, contributing to the development and production of inertial MEMS technology. His contributions resulted in the generation of two dozen patents. Following this success, he co-founded IronWood Technologies, a railroad services firm, eventually selling it in 2005.
