Ketil Gjerstad is the Managing Director and Senior Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) leading the Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice in Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

With a strong focus on unlocking clients' full value potential, Ketil leverages BCG's expertise in portfolio and capital market strategy, innovation, M&A, and transformations.

He has vast experience in leading cross-border integrations, carve-outs, and improvement programs, benefiting numerous shareholders over the years.

Being a member of BCG's Principal Investors and Private Equity Practice, Ketil has supported over 100 commercial due diligences for various investors.

In his leadership role, he is dedicated to fostering the success of his BCG partner colleagues and investing in the development of future leaders.

Ketil Gjerstad holds a Master of Science in Economics and Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from William & Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business.

Based in Oslo, he enjoys spending his free time with family, friends, and engaging in outdoor sports.
