Kerra Pearce is a dedicated Lab Manager at UCL GOS Institute of Child Health, with a strong passion for optimizing operational practices and providing practical support to academic colleagues. She is committed to enhancing research outcomes while minimizing challenges. Kerra has developed a deep interest in Sustainability, focusing on reducing waste, carbon footprint, and energy consumption in the Life Sciences sector.

With a solid educational background, Kerra holds an MSc in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from Birkbeck, U. of London, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cell Biology from the University of Nottingham. Her academic achievements reflect her expertise in these domains.

Throughout her career, Kerra has held various roles including Laboratory Manager at UCL GOS Institute of Child Health, Genomics Applications Specialist & Centre Administrator at UCL Genomics, Experimental Officer at UCL Genomics, Medical Technical Officer (Grade 2) at North East Thames Regional Genetics Service, and DNA Analyst at Forensic Science Service. This diverse experience has equipped her with valuable transferrable skills applicable to roles in Sustainability and Quality Assurance.

Kerra Pearce is currently seeking new opportunities outside of the London commute to leverage her expertise and make meaningful contributions in the fields of Sustainability and Quality Assurance.
