Kent Richardson is a highly experienced patent strategist and corporate counsel. He specializes in providing strategic advice to corporations for defense and monetization of patents, and has extensive experience in patent-buying and -selling, portfolio management, and licensing. Richardson is the CEO of Richardson Oliver Insights, where he has developed and manages a comprehensive market database of patent-buying opportunities worth nearly $40 billion. He is also a former adjunct lecturer of IP for Startups at Stanford Graduate School of Business and has held leadership positions in various organizations including Licensing Executives Society and CIP Center for Intellectual Property. Richardson's technical background in computer engineering further enhances his expertise in the field of patents. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta where he earned a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Doctor of Law (JD).
