Kent Husted

Kent Husted is a seasoned non-profit leader with a passion for facilitating the transformation of poverty-stricken communities around the world through Christ-centered ministries. With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from McDaniel College, Kent combined his education and his love for God to earn a Master of Biblical and Theological Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Later, he studied Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Business Administration, Management, and Operations at the Johns Hopkins University.
Kent's professional experience spans across different roles, including serving as the Assistant Director of Student Ministries at McLean Bible Church and the Administrative Officer at the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health. He is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Empowering Action, a non-profit organization that partners with local ministries worldwide to transform impoverished communities. His strategy for achieving this goal is by cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with organizations and individuals nationally and internationally.
