Kenny Mendes

Kenny Mendes is the Head of People & Operations at Coda, a role he has held since August 2022. He has been with Coda since February 2015, contributing significantly to the company’s growth from a private beta to a widely used product among over 25,000 teams globally. Prior to becoming Head of People & Operations, he served as the Head of Finance, People, & Operations from August 2016 to August 2022 and was involved in recruiting and HR during his earlier tenure at the company.13

Mendes has a diverse background in operations and recruiting, having previously worked as the Director of Recruiting at Box and as a Senior Associate at Riviera Partners. He is also an angel investor with First Round Capital and has founded a venture called Startup Hiring, where he teaches CEOs how to hire effectively.124 He holds a degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and is based in Mountain View, California.1
