Kenny MacPherson

Kenny MacPherson is the CEO of Hipgnosis Songs Group.12 He is known in the music industry for his "no-nonsense reputation" and his Scottish accent.2

MacPherson's career:

• Redhead Music Publishing MacPherson began in music publishing in the early 1980s, forming Redhead Music Publishing with Dave Margereson, Supertramp's manager.2
• Warner/Chappell In 1989, he joined Warner/Chappell and spent 13 years there, signing artists such as Radiohead, Underworld, and Savage Garden.2
• Chrysalis Music Division North America Before forming Big Deal Music Group, MacPherson served as President and Senior Executive of Chrysalis Music Division North America.2

In October 2023, MacPherson was placed on leave from Hipgnosis Songs Group following allegations of sexual harassment and assault by a former colleague.345 The lawsuit was filed by Sara Lewis, who worked with MacPherson at Chrysalis in the mid-2000s.3 MacPherson's legal representative has denied all allegations.3
