Kenneth Rubango

Kenneth Rubango is a dedicated Biomedical Engineer with vast experience in academia, distributorship, and consulting within the medical device and healthcare technology sectors. Currently affiliated with Makerere University, Joint Medical Store, Oxylife, and Uganda's Ministry of Health, Kenneth's work involves designing and implementing high-impact innovations in a sustainable manner. His doctoral research at the University of Salford in Manchester focuses on strengthening sustainable health systems.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Kenneth has a background in sports, having captained the Uganda National U-19 team and played on various rugby teams, including Duke University's team. He also enjoys dancing to electronic music and holds a deep love for his African heritage.
Kenneth's educational journey is marked by notable achievements, including a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Makerere University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Salford.
