Kenneth MacAskill

Kenneth MacAskill is a seasoned corporate finance executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience working with venture-based businesses across multiple industries. With a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from St. Francis Xavier University, MacAskill began his career at PwC and later joined Watchfire. During his tenure, he raised venture capital and grew the team to 200 people, executing a successful M&A transaction with IBM. MacAskill went on to replicate this success with Third Brigade, Desktone, Recognia, Shoebox, and Snyk, where he currently serves as CFO. Outside of work, MacAskill is a dedicated health enthusiast who enjoys jogging, hiking, and snowshoeing. As a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA), MacAskill was a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. In addition to Snyk, his previous roles have included CFO at Klipfolio, Veeam Software, Desktone, Recognia, and Blaze Software Inc, as well as VP Finance at Alliance Atlantis.
