His journey started with a college course in Visual Basic that sparked his interest in Computer Science, leading to a fulfilling career in software engineering.

While in college, Kenneth also served as an All Source Intelligence Analyst for the Virginia Army National Guard, offering a unique blend of military and technical expertise.

Kenneth Lawhorne has extensive experience working with small teams in areas such as frequency path loss optimization, data fusion, predictive analytics, and more in the defense sector.

In 2006, he founded Fieldstone Software to delve into entrepreneurship and developed TaskJot, an innovative Blackberry app for task management.

Transitioning from an employee to a software development consultant in 2010, Kenneth continues to excel in problem-solving and remains updated on the latest tools and techniques in the industry.

Currently, Kenneth Lawhorne is actively involved in a consulting project for the University of Texas at San Antonio, focusing on a client application for the Small Aircraft Risk Technology (SMART) fracture mechanics engine using JavaFX.

His significant ongoing project, Fieldstone Service Management, is a web-based field service app tailored for the residential HVAC industry, demonstrating his expertise with PHP, Laravel Framework, and MariaDB.

Embracing a shift towards a more scalable cloud-based architecture, Kenneth is leading the transition to technologies like C#, Xamarin, ASP.NET Core, and Couchbase to enhance operational efficiency and expand platform compatibility.
