Kenjiro Shibata

Kenjiro Shibata is the Deputy General Manager of Application Development / Service Advanced Engineering, Connected Car Off-board Development and Operation, and Connected Car and Service Engineering at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.12 He has over 20 years of experience in mobile and connected car technologies. Before joining Nissan in 2019, Shibata worked at a major Japanese electronics manufacturer, where he transitioned from domestic mobile phones to the global smartphone business, leading software development, project management, and business development. After a U.S. assignment, he joined Nissan to develop connected car services. Currently, he heads global application and new service development, focusing on creating novel user experiences through connected car services.1
