Kendra Engels

Kendra Engels is an accomplished strategic leader with a passion for partnership management in mission-driven organizations. With over 12 years of experience in various roles at Citizen Schools, a non-profit organization, Kendra has honed her skills in people management, program development, and community engagement, allowing her to make a significant impact in public education. Her expertise in providing project-based apprenticeships and community-led education initiatives has been instrumental in empowering students in Massachusetts and New Mexico. Recently, she assumed the role of Director of School-based Programs at AchieveMpls, where she works closely with schools to provide college and career-readiness programs to students. Kendra holds a Masters in Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor's degree in Art from Grinnell College. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, travelling, and spending time with her family and white shepherd dog.
