Ken Whitaker

Ken Whitaker, with over 25 years of experience in software development leadership and training, is the managing director of Leading Software Maniacs. He is an accomplished app developer, author, and creator of the PM Chalkboard video shorts.

Throughout his career, Ken has held various notable positions including editor at Better Software magazine, VP of Engineering at Datalight Inc, and VP of Applications Development at Solucient (Truven Health Analytics), among many others.

Ken is currently working on a unique gamification product called The Nerd Herd Game, aimed at making team exercises enjoyable and enhancing collaboration. He is also developing a visual book/workshop titled Young Person's Guide to Software Project Management.

His educational background includes studying Computer Science & Applications at Virginia Polytechnic and State University, Mathematics and Fine Arts at James Madison University, and Mathematics/Physics at University of Maryland.
