Retail Pro was developed in the mid 1980s and is now a leading international point of sale software provider and specialize in delivering cost-effective, scalable retail software to small and mid-tier retailers who wish to grow their businesses. Their solutions manage billions of transactions annually in more than 52,000 store locations worldwide, in 84 countries, and 18 different languages. The product is scalable and supports from one to thousands of stores. 

Retail Pro is distinguished by its strong multi-national capabilities. Their retail point of sale software supports multiple languages, multiple currencies and various regional localizations, making Retail Pro the point of sale software of choice for retailers with international operations or those planning to expand beyond a single country. 

During my tenure with Retail Pro I grew the UK Channel Business by 55%, by revenue, recruited two additional Channel Partners and started the move towards distribution.

I was responsible for Business Development of the Intermec brand in the UK and Ireland for Avnet, reporting into the UK and Ireland Sales Manager.
The role encompassed developing business from existing partners; recruiting partners from the Intermec PartnerNet Program and recruiting new partners, both to Intermec and Avnet. I achieved this by working closely with the Intermec Account Managers and vertically aligned Strategic Account Managers. 
I also worked with other teams within Avnet to identify potential partners and recruit them. I worked with the ISV Partners, from all vendors, to identify potential new partners.

My role was to develop new business in the EMEA region by creating a Channel Partner structure. We partnered with some of the biggest names in IT providing them with various solutions and services to ensure that they provide profitable and effective solutions to their customers.

ProScan Distribution, is a leading Value Added Distributor of a broad range of global brands of bar coding, data collection, RFID, wireless networking and mobile computing technologies in southern Africa.

ProScan Distribution has partnership agreements with Datalogic, Datamax, DRS Technologies, Intermec, Microscan, O'Neil, Seagull Scientific and Teklynx.

The company focusses on distribution to key vertical market sectors, including retail, fast moving consumer goods, transport and logistics, industrial, and services and utiilities, through its channel partners, ranging from accredited dealers, value added resellers and system integrators.
