I developed the commercial, marketing and sales channel strategy for the channel which now includes distribution partners, an active dealer and reseller base, affinity partners, direct sales agencies and an online and inbound affiliate dealer programme.  Responsibilities include partner business development, stakeholder management and daily management of the dealer contact centre including targets and sales.

Secured joint venture, national account and local authority wins across the UK directly and through local government competitive tender process for the ‘parking by phone’ service. RingGo™ is now the market leading pay by phone service in the UK.

Headed up UK Sales for a service, which provided mCommerce solutions for the European M2M GSM & radio packet data terminal market. Developed a joint channel strategy for European wireless terminal manufacturers and the mPayments Service, introducing marketing, promotion, targets & key performance indicators. I built partnerships with government and local government sectors where the wireless based applications aided in the removal of cash from various terminal types. Negotiated company service inclusion in the first multi-vendor mobile payments platform in the UK. Secured company and service provision for new markets including: closed-user group payments for wireless terminals in education & catering, web/SMS payments for pre-pay utility, ISO/EIC 14443 NFC transport ticketing and retail POS transactions for local authority payments.

Joined the start-up payment services provider to direct, implement and fulfil the sales strategy for a service that allows the unattended EMV transaction terminal market to accept payment by credit or debit card by using GSM, fixed line & Mobitex.  Successfully developed EMEA markets from Beirut to Nijmegen, including telephony, pay TV machines, parking machines, vending telemetry, congestion charging terminals, M2M OEM deals inc. BT Redcare telemetry & EMV level 2 software licences.
I developed relationships with principles of credit card schemes, acquirers & software & hardware solutions providers. Won clients as varied as Sainsburys (car wash machine telemetry & payment), local authorities for parking machines, ATM manufacturers, rail & coach operators, hotel groups, car park operators, airport authorities (vending & parking) & the London Congestion Charging Scheme ensured that revenue targets were exceeded year on year including a 2002-3 revenue target beaten by 290%. As well as managerial responsibility for the sales team, investor relations & fundraising formed part of my role with the company & reported directly to the rest of the board of directors. From a standing start, I also secured the integration of the company EMV Kernel/intellectual property by manufacturers of 80% of the Worlds wireless parking payment terminals & closed OEM deals to provide a European multi-currency/cross-border card processing solution.
