Ken Kodama

Ken Kodama is the founder and CEO of EMURGO, a key entity in the Cardano blockchain ecosystem. He has a background as a Certified Financial Planner but shifted his focus to the blockchain industry in 2014 due to his belief in the transformative potential of digital assets. Ken played a pivotal role in the launch of the Cardano blockchain in 2015 alongside Charles Hoskinson, becoming one of the early co-founders. In the same year, he established EMURGO to drive the commercial growth of the Cardano ecosystem. Under his leadership, EMURGO has rapidly expanded globally, with initiatives like EMURGO Academy in India and Indonesia and the development of Yoroi Wallet, Cardano's first official light wallet, in 2018. Ken is committed to fostering mass adoption of Cardano and positioning it as a leader in socially impactful solutions by 2025.
