Kembrel Jones

B. Kembrel Jones was the Deputy Vice Dean of Student Life at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.16 He played a significant role in shaping the Wharton culture and student experience.2 Unfortunately, Kembrel Jones passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 62 from a heart attack.135

During his time at Wharton, Jones was known for his contributions to student life and his impact on the MBA program. He was involved in various aspects of the student experience, including:

3. Welcoming new students to Wharton4

Jones was remembered fondly by students and colleagues for his engaging personality and his role in creating a vibrant student community at Wharton. After his passing, there were efforts to establish the B. Kembrel Jones Leadership Scholarship in his memory.3
