Kelvin Au

Kelvin Au is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in technology investment banking, venture capital, and managing high-growth operations. Prior to his current roles at 3Ventures, MD One Ventures, and The Players Fund, Kelvin held significant positions in renowned organizations. He was the Head of Venture at Founders Factory, an early stage technology investor offering startups early access to partnership opportunities and specialized support. Kelvin also served as the interim COO at Qumin and as the Managing Director at Metail, overseeing key aspects such as finance & operations and international business, leading to successful fundraising and eventual acquisition. Before venturing into startups, Kelvin was involved in venture investing at Draper Esprit (Molten Ventures) and gained valuable experience at Credit Suisse and HSBC, providing M&A and financing advice to global technology corporates and SMEs. Additionally, Kelvin is an active angel investor and a limited partner at the Creator Fund, focusing on technology startups with promising talent and ideas. He holds a first class Master's degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London.
