Kelly Walsh CISM CISSP CPP

Kelly Walsh is a seasoned consultant with over 20 years of experience providing risk management and security services to private and public sector clients. Her expertise includes conducting Threat Risk Assessments (TRA), Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A),Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), and Onsite Technical Vulnerability Assessment (OTVA) services. Her clients have included federal and provincial governments, insurance & financial institutions, and Telco & Utilities organizations. Kelly has studied Network Engineering and Information Technology Project Management.

As the President of WNCS, Kelly helps organizations communicate their security needs and requirements to their management. She works to identify cost-effective solutions to security problems, translating security needs into business needs that are achievable and demonstrate measurable improvement over time. Kelly enjoys public speaking and is available to speak at conferences and events.

Kelly’s professional background includes serving in various roles, such as an External Security Auditor at the Government of Canada and Security Auditor at Shared Services Canada. She has also provided services as a Security Technical Specialist / Project Manager at Bank of Canada, Security Assessor at Shared Services Canada, C&A Consultant at PWGSC, and PIA Specialist at the Ministry of Community and Social Services, among others.

Kelly has worked as a Security Consultant for Resolve Corporation, Ontario Power Generation, TD Securities, and Telus. She also served as an Officer at the 709 Communications Regiment.
