    Kelly Powers is a talented pianist, composer, and improviser based in New York City with a diverse background in jazz music.

    She holds a B.A. in Music, Jazz Piano from the University of Hartford and a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from Manhattan School of Music.

    Kelly has released two original albums and has extensive experience performing with big bands, small jazz groups, and notable artists like Grammy-nominated drummer Kendrick Scott.

    Her performances range from tours with renowned orchestras to featured spots at jazz clubs like Smoke Jazz Club in NYC.

    In addition to her performing career, Kelly has over thirteen years of experience teaching private piano lessons and has held various teaching positions at prestigious institutions like New England Conservatory of Music Prep & Continuing Education Dept and Northeastern University.

    She has also taught internationally at the True School of Music in Mumbai and showcased her talent at prominent music festivals like the Mahindra Blues Festival.

    Currently, Kelly is involved in performing, composing, and running her private teaching studio in Wyomissing, PA.

    She has a rich history of leadership roles in jazz bands, composing and arranging music, as well as teaching at multiple music schools and programs.
