Director of Technology Architecture

. Charged with maintaining the availability, integrity and operations of the company’s network infrastructure and data center using industry best practices. Responsible for networks, servers, SANs, telecommunications, information security, hardware and software lifecycle management, policy authoring and compliance and project management. 
•	Redesigned the IT disaster recovery strategy to focus on high availability by implementing a mix of virtualization, asynchronous replication, SANs and a secondary remote data center, which resulted in greater control of the company’s DR resources and reduced disaster recovery spending.
•	Using ITIL best practices, implemented proactive server, application and environment monitoring, change management, SLAs and OLAs, configuration management.
•	Introduced new strategies and methodologies to improve network and data center service levels and reduce spending.
•	Participated in the creation of and currently enforce and review IT Policies and Procedures relating to operational and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
•	Managed the project to move corporate email to the cloud, therefore saving over $300K in upgrade costs.
