Kelly Kowatch is a highly skilled high impact practice expert with extensive experience in creating impactful educational experiences. Kelly has an impressive educational background, having received her High School Diploma from New Lothrop High School and gone on to study at Michigan State University, Eastern Michigan University, and The Ohio State University. In addition, she is currently studying in the Higher Education, Adult, and Lifelong Learning Doctoral Program at Michigan State University.
Kelly has held several director-level roles in her career, including her current position as Director of Engaged Learning at the University of Michigan School of Information where she leads the development of engaged learning programs. Prior to this, she held roles as Associate Director of Engaged Learning and Program Manager, Service Engagement at the same institution. Kelly has also held various roles in career counseling and development, including Assistant Director and Career Counselor at the University of Michigan School of Information, and Career Advisor, Business Career Center at Loyola University Chicago. 
Throughout her career, Kelly has also gained valuable experience in finance and accounting. She worked as an Associate in the Finance and Accounting Leadership Development Program at International Truck and Engine and as a Performance Auditor at the State of Ohio Office of the Auditor. Kelly also has experience in the automotive and construction industries, having worked as a Finance Intern at Owens Corning and a Student Assistant at the Lear Corporation Career Services Center at Michigan State University.
Kelly Kowatch is a highly accomplished individual with diverse experience in education, career counseling, and finance. Her expertise in high impact practice and engaged learning has made her an invaluable asset to the University of Michigan School of Information, where she continues to drive impactful educational experiences.
