Prior to founding KKFP in 2022, Klingaman spent nearly 12 years at Dimensional Fund Advisors, a large asset manager, where she built her career in the investment management industry.23 Most recently, she was a Regional Director and Vice President on the sales team and Lead Chair of the Women’s Inclusion Network for employees.2
Klingaman received a degree in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.23 She also studied Business Law & Ethics, and Law of the European Union at The University of Edinburgh in 2009.1 She holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, issued December 2014, and the Registered Life Planner® designation, issued April 2022.1
Klingaman volunteers to mentor undergraduate business students at the University of Texas at Austin via the Wealth Management Center Mentorship Program, with a focus on mentoring young women interested in becoming financial advisors.2 She has been an active member and volunteer with the Texas Wall Street Women’s Austin chapter since 2014, planning networking and educational events and supporting the organization’s partnership with the Young Women’s Preparatory Network.2
