Kellie Chan

Kellie Chan is the Assistant Director of Investments, specifically focusing on Corporate Engagement, at SGInnovate. She has been with the organization since its inception, having joined the venture investment arm of the former Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) as part of a venture capital management associate program. This role allowed her to grow alongside SGInnovate as it evolved from its earlier structure into its current form, emphasizing the development of the Deep Tech ecosystem in Singapore.

In her current position, Kellie leads efforts to engage with corporates to identify emerging technology areas of interest for investment and collaboration. She is responsible for conducting landscape research and facilitating partnerships between startups and corporates, enabling pilot projects and collaborations that can drive innovation. Her work involves sourcing deal flow and identifying promising startups globally, particularly in emerging tech sectors like quantum technology, where she has previously led investments.124

Kellie holds a double degree in Information Systems and Finance from university and has a longstanding interest in STEM fields, which began during her education in coding and programming. Outside of work, she enjoys nature and often engages in hiking activities.13
