Kelley Mak

Kelley Mak is a General Partner at Work-Bench, a venture capital firm based in New York City.12 She joined Work-Bench in 2016 as an Associate and has since progressed through various roles, including Principal and Partner, before being promoted to General Partner in January 2024.2

Kelley focuses on early-stage enterprise technology investments, particularly in areas such as security, cloud, and developer tools.4 Prior to joining Work-Bench, she worked at Forrester Research as an Analyst and Senior Research Associate from 2011 to 2016.5

At Work-Bench, Kelley plays a crucial role in:

1. Leading corporate engagement initiatives, working with Fortune 1000 executives to understand their technology priorities and pain points.6
2. Sourcing and supporting portfolio companies, including successful investments in Algorithmia, Tilt, Uplevel, Scytale, VISO Trust, AppMap, SeeMetrics, CloudQuery, Common Fate, and Streamdal.2
3. Building and maintaining relationships with corporations and technologists, organizing events and facilitating connections within the enterprise technology ecosystem.3

Kelley holds a BS in Physics and Philosophy from Boston College, where she also worked as an Undergraduate Faculty Research Fellow in the Physics Department from 2009 to 2011.5
